Moland House

This past weekend we went to a craft show and it happened to be at a historic location.

Moland House

It’s places like this that make me love the “blue” signs. I’d never heard of the Moland House and yet it oozes with history. Two major principles of the American Revolution (Marquis de Lafayette and General Pulaski) are brought together with General George Washington.

I’m always amazed by the lack of knowledge I have about the area in which I live. Sometimes I like to just look at the road or place that I’m at and try to imagine what it looked like in the late 18th century. What can I say…I’m a history junkie

Cheese, Grandpa and Robert Goulet…I Miss You All

This sign made me kind of sad but in a nostalgic way. I miss both Cheese and Grandpa. You know because I can’t eat cheese, I’m lactose intolerant. Also I miss Grandpa because he like died before I was born and I miss that I didn’t get to know him but understand because it was like 1932 and everybody died young back then.

I’m okay with Gourmet though, its delicious and also because it makes me think of Robert Goulet. Wait…now I’m sad again because I just remembered Robert Goulet is dead too.

It’s amazing how one sign can invoke so many feelings of loss. Bumer eh?

I always chuckle when I see signs with Stick Figures as people. Its the same chuckle I get when I drive over those divots on the side of the road that tell you that you’ve gone out of the lane. Yeah…just like that, lol.

While driving along some road in some town…I think Doylestown I cam across this sign. I didn’t see it at first but it was pointed out to me.

I wonder what Camp Curiosity offers? Is it for kids? Is it a cult? Who knows…but I’m very curious!

I found this sign to be funny. You know with that whole don’t drink and drive theme. Change for the parking meters can be found at the Liquor Store. Where you might just pick up some liquor for the ride home. Well maybe, maybe not, lol.
